An exciting opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager based on outskirts of Bedford to join a growing international business at a pivotal point in its development. Reporting to the EMEA Finance Director, you'll take ownership of core finance operations while helping shape a stronger, scalable finance function across the region. With further international integration and potential M&A ahead, this is a role offering genuine scope to influence the business and progress your career.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across transactional finance and financial accounting.
- Own month-end reporting, management accounts, forecasting and financial controls.
- Provide meaningful commercial insight into margins, working capital and cash.
- Take a hands-on role in improving controls, costing and root-cause analysis.
- Support the integration of a European entity into the EMEA structure.
- Help build a finance function capable of supporting future acquisitions and growth.
- Partner closely with the Finance Director, senior leadership and international stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting, controls and systems.

What you'll bring
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Strong post-qualified experience within a Finance Manager / senior finance role.
- Experience managing and developing a finance team.
- Strong month-end, management accounting, forecasting and financial control experience.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to understand the drivers behind performance, not simply report the numbers.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the appetite to make an impact in a changing environment.
- Ambition to develop into a broader senior finance leadership position (clear route to FD here).

Package & working pattern
- Circa £70K-£75K.
