What We Are Looking For
On-site Support Leader - EMEA
IT | EMEA | Hybrid | Telford or Rheinmetall house in Bristol, with occasional UK and EMEA region travel required.

Position Overview
Reporting directly to the EMEA IT Director, and functionally supported by the VP of User Support for the group. This hands-on leadership role will combine People Leadership, Service Management, and technical support across a geographically distributed support team to ensure our colleagues receive a responsive, professional, and effective IT service.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead, Manage & Develop: working closely with the regional support leads across the division to create a high-performing and customer-focused culture.
- Divisional support: lead the divisional IT support service and provide an escalation point for the regional IT leads. Working closely with the Global Service Desk to resolve issues and improve service.
- Cross-Site Mobility: Travel occasionally to secondary Rheinmetall Defence facilities to support and oversee deployments, upgrades, and local infrastructure projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively implement modern IT solutions to support a rapidly expanding user base. Establish consistent IT support processes and standard ways of working across EMEA.

What Qualifications You Should Have
- Technical Expertise: Good understanding of IT Processes and proven experience leading an IT support, Service desk, or EUC function within a multi-site or international organisation.
- Core Technology Stack: Advanced administrative knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments, Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, Cloud systems, Intune.
- Vetting & Security: Must hold, or be fully eligible to obtain, UK Security Check (SC) clearance to handle sensitive defence sector data.
- ITIL experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform
- Personal Attributes: High energy, strong self-motivation, and a flexible mindset to handle diverse responsibilities in an evolving environment.
- Licensing: Full UK driving licence to facilitate required business travel between corporate sites.
Develop and maintain core IT processes and policies which comply with all internal guidelines and security requirements.

- Ensure adherence to policies, processes, procedures, and best practice throughout the delivery of IT services. Including educating users to comply with these and cyber security rules.
- Experience managing and supporting to a high standard:
- Applications, Entra / Azure / Microsoft Intune, Power Platform, Automation / Optimisation
- Security stack, SharePoint, 365 Environments, Teams, Exchange Online, AI Integration
- ServiceNow
Strong IT Background including demonstrable experience of a diverse skillset within an IT department or MSP. Ideally with corporate IT experience.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.
