Position Description

The EMEA Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and optimising all logistics and transportation activities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This role ensures the efficient movement of goods including chillers and CRAH units, manages third-party logistics providers, drives cost-effectiveness and delivers high levels of customer service while maintaining compliance with regional regulations and company standards.

The successful candidate will develop logistics strategies that support business growth, improve operational performance and strengthen supply chain resilience across multiple countries and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations Management

  • Lead end-to-end logistics operations across the EMEA region, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and customs activities.
  • Ensure products are delivered to customers on time, in full, and in line with service level agreements.
  • Manage and continuously improve logistics processes to maximise efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Monitor logistics performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Transportation & Freight Management

  • Develop and manage transportation strategies across road, sea, air and courier networks.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers, freight forwarders and logistics service providers.
  • Drive freight cost reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality.
  • Ensure effective shipment planning and execution across international markets.

Customs, Trade & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations across EMEA countries.
  • Maintain knowledge of customs procedures, trade agreements, and regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with internal compliance, finance and legal teams to mitigate risk.
  • Support customs audits and regulatory inspections.

Inventory & Distribution

  • Collaborate with supply planning and warehouse teams to optimize inventory flow.
  • Support finish stock inventory accuracy
  • Drive improvements in distribution network efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Sales, Service, Manufacturing, Procurement and Engineering teams.
  • Provide logistics expertise to support business expansion and customer requirements.
  • Act as the key EMEA logistics contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead logistics improvement projects focused on service, cost, sustainability and operational excellence.
  • Use data analytics and reporting to identify performance trends and opportunities.
  • Implement best practices and standardisation across the EMEA region.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related professional experience.
  • Professional logistics qualification (CILT, APICS, CSCMP, or similar) preferred.
  • Significant experience managing logistics operations within an international or EMEA environment.
  • Strong understanding of transportation, freight management, customs, and international trade compliance.
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers and carrier relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
