Job Description
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Europe Middle East Africa Marketing Assistant and Event Coordinator for the Health Information Systems business, you will provide a blend of marketing event coordination, trade show support, and executive administrative support across multiple business teams in Europe.
You will help coordinate internal team meetings and business events, support external marketing events and trade shows, and manage the administrative details that help regional teams operate efficiently.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate marketing events and external trade shows, including event registration, booth coordination, vendor and venue logistics, timelines, materials, attendee support, and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate internal team meetings, business meetings, and regional events for EMEA business leaders, including meeting rooms, hotel blocks, catering, agenda support, travel coordination, and on-site or virtual meeting logistics.
- Support approximately seven marketers and their business partners with administrative tasks connected to marketing activities, campaign execution, event preparation, purchase orders, vendor coordination, scheduling, and follow-up activities.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, or a related field and 2 years of experience in event coordination, marketing operations, trade show support, or executive administrative support.
- High School Diploma/GED from AND (5) years of experience in trade shows, events, field marketing operations, or executive administrative support with ownership of logistics in private, public, government, or military environments.
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Proven organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects, schedules, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with external vendors, agencies, and suppliers.
- Experience supporting a regional or international marketing organization.
- Experience with event registration platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
- Experience managing travel arrangements, internal and external meetings, executive calendars, agendas, meeting materials, and follow-up actions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Knowledge of the German language (and/or) French.
- Experience in healthcare, technology, or B2B marketing environments.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and flexible in a fast-paced event environment.
- Experience negotiating and coordinating with event venues, hotels, and suppliers.
- Proficiency with AI solutions like Copilot.
