EMEA Marketing Lead
Location: Remote, EMEA, full-time
About the Role
Sky: Children of the Light is one of the most-played and most-loved games in the world. This is a rare opportunity to build Sky's marketing presence across Europe from the ground up. As our first dedicated hire in the region, you'll shape how millions of new players discover and fall in love with the game.
As our EMEA Marketing Lead, you'll own Sky's marketing strategy and execution across the region. You'll build and run an always-on engine across social, creators, events and paid media, lead our specialist agency partners, and make sure our biggest moments land with the audience and impact they deserve. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you'll set the direction and also roll up your sleeves to deliver it.
What You'll Do
- Own the EMEA marketing strategy and its execution across our priority markets, beginning with the UK and France.
- Lead our specialist agency partners across social, creators and events: setting the strategic direction and brand vision, and holding them to a high delivery bar.
- Own and steward the regional marketing budget, allocating across channels and markets based on performance.
- Build and run an always-on social and creator presence, grounded in Sky's brand positioning and consistent across markets.
- Plan and deliver marketing support for major content moments, coordinating brand, creative, social, creators, events, paid media and UA into one coherent go-to-market.
- Partner closely with the global marketing team to keep EMEA aligned with the wider brand while adapting to local culture and audiences.
- Establish the KPIs that define traction, report on performance, and use the data to sharpen what we do next.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Bring
- 10+ years in marketing, with deep experience in social and creator, ideally in games, entertainment or a culturally-driven consumer brand.
- A strong track record building brand and community, not just driving installs, with a feel for content that earns attention rather than buys it.
- Experience owning a budget and managing agencies and external partners, getting great creative work out of them.
- A strong cross-functional collaborator, skilled at stakeholder and relationship management across the global team and external partners. This is critical to the role.
- Exceptionally organized, able to manage multiple channels, partners and markets at once without dropping quality.
- Data-driven, comfortable setting KPIs, reading performance, and using insight to decide where to invest and what to change.
- Fluency with European markets and cultures, and the judgement to know what travels and what needs to be local.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting work to senior stakeholders.
- A builder's mindset: happy to be hands-on, set things up from scratch, and operate independently.
