About the Role
We are looking for an experienced EMEA Music Publishing Partnerships Manager to join a music publishing partnerships team working at the intersection of music publishing, digital rights, and technology.
This is a unique opportunity to manage relationships with music publishers, collection societies, and other publishing partners across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), while supporting data-driven decision-making and operational initiatives across digital music platforms.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience in music publishing, strong knowledge of digital music licensing and publishing rights, and the ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage music publishing partnerships across EMEA, ensuring effective communication, partner engagement, and delivery of contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with music publishers and collection societies.
- Support data-driven analysis and decision-making around music publishing strategy and issues.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure accurate and timely data and information exchange between publishing partners and the business.
- Triage partner queries and coordinate with internal teams to identify and implement solutions.
- Provide insights into the music publishing ecosystem, industry developments, and partner priorities.
- Support marketing programmes aligned with company objectives and music publisher and songwriter priorities.
- Conduct business reviews and track music usage across digital platforms and systems.
- Support processes related to the identification and payment of rights holders.
- Coordinate and manage relevant partner events and engagement activities.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Essential Requirements
- Approximately 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Significant experience within music publishing and/or collective management organizations, particularly in partner management or engagement.
- Strong understanding of digital music business models.
- Solid knowledge of music publishing rights and rights data.
- Experience with digital music licensing.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders, including Director-level contacts.
- Experience leading or contributing to data-driven analysis and business reviews.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex and rapidly changing environment.

Desirable Skills
- Experience working closely with music publishing operations or royalties teams.
- Familiarity with digital music licensing agreements.
- Experience with major music publishers such as Sony Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing Group, Warner Chappell, PRS for Music, or SACEM.
- Experience working with digital technology platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, Amazon, or Apple.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic background.
