About the Role
MUFG is seeking a Vice President for their EMEA Operations DX & AI Transformation Office in London, offering you the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of operational excellence within one of the world’s most respected financial institutions. This newly established team is at the forefront of digitalisation and transformation, leveraging advanced technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, and business process reengineering to drive efficiency, safety, and soundness across operations. You will lead a talented group of developers, championing innovative solutions that enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with rigorous internal policies and regulatory standards. What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day management of a team of developers responsible for delivering robust RPA solutions that support operational efficiency.
- Lead business process re-engineering by identifying processes for improvement, articulating problem statements clearly, analyzing requirements thoroughly, and designing appropriate solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process flow diagrams and summarize key points at management level to build compelling business cases.
- Oversee programme management and solution delivery using agile methodologies across multiple platforms including Tungsten Automation (KTA/RPA), Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Promote GenAI solutions like Copilot to enable business benefits from advanced AI tools; support the integration of AI agents into operational workflows.
- Drive upskilling initiatives across EMEA Operations by rolling out Datacamp training programs to embed digital capabilities within teams.
- Support the communications agenda for transformation programs by preparing updates for key committees and stakeholders.
- Conduct horizon scanning to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI, digitalisation, and transformation.
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and consultants to ensure project success through shared expertise.
- Act as a transformation agent advocating change to support Operations’ strategy in providing timely, accurate, and appropriate services.

What You Bring
- Proven experience delivering transformation initiatives from initiation through completion within corporate or investment banking environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in business analysis across diverse transformation projects involving business process re-engineering and intelligent automation.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing multi-platform solution delivery including Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) as well as process automation platforms such as Tungsten Automation/KTA/RPA/PEGA.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation, report generation, and data visualisation best practices tailored for management reporting.
- Ability to document high-level concepts in PowerPoint presentations suitable for non-technical stakeholders; excellent written communication skills.
- Sound understanding of corporate & investment banking operating models with insight into front-to-back processes and organisational challenges.
- Strong knowledge of change management principles and project delivery methodologies; adept at planning and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to establish collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels inside and outside the organisation.
- Experience preparing high-quality presentation papers that explain complex concepts clearly for senior stakeholders; adaptable messaging skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of governance frameworks related to change management as well as broader organisational risk controls.
