EMEA Controller

As an EMEA Controller in the technology & telecoms industry, you will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. This temporary role is key to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider accounting & finance team.

Client Details

I'm currently partnering with a NASDAQ-listed global technology organisation that has seen exceptional growth and continues to expand across EMEA through both organic growth and acquisitions.

They're looking for an EMEA Regional Controller to join the leadership team and support a complex, multi-entity environment spanning the UK, Germany, and wider EMEA region.

Description

  • High-profile role partnering directly with the EMEA Finance Director
  • Fast-paced, evolving environment where finance has genuine influence on business decisions
  • Ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and EMEA consolidation activities
  • Exposure to US GAAP and reporting into a US-listed parent company
  • Leadership of both in-house and outsourced finance teams
  • Significant involvement in acquisition integration, controls, and process improvement projects
  • Manage financial reporting and ensure accuracy in all financial documents
  • Oversee compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Supervise accounting operations across the EMEA region
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial procedures
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required

A Successful EMEA Controller Should Have

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
  • Experience working in a US-based business
  • Proven track record in managing accounting and finance functions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Relevant professional qualifications in accounting or finance
