Industrial Smart Component (ISC) Business Unit, within IDT, is a global leader in producing standard and custom RFID Tags for Industry & logistics, healthcare, animal identification and fueling automation markets, with manufacturing sites in Malaysia, China, and US.

As the EMEA Sales Director for the Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, you will lead a geographically diverse sales organization across Europe (the European region). You will drive regional revenue with emphasis on expanding the RFID tag business through OEMs, VARs, and System Integrator partnerships. ISC, part of HID’s strongly growing Business Area Identification Technologies (IDT), has large potential for both organic growth and growth through acquisitions. Your success will hinge on coaching and developing your team to grow your territory using a mix of direct and indirect sales strategies to expand current accounts, build sales pipelines, and close new businesses.

In this role, you will report directly to the ISC Global Sales Director, ensuring strong alignment between regional execution and global strategy ensuring to meet ISC revenue targets. This highly collaborative position demands strong team leadership and managerial skills and excellent communication abilities.

IDT is creating trusted identities for IoT applications through Smart Components and Enabling Services.

As our EMEA Sales Director ISC, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Leading and developing the team: Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing ISC sales team across Europe (approximately 10+ team members), fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous development
  • Executing regional strategy: Translate global ISC sales strategy into actionable regional plans aligned with revenue and growth objectives
  • Driving revenue growth: Deliver consistent top-line growth and increased market share through a balanced mix of direct and channel sales
  • Expanding go-to-market channels: Develop and strengthen sales channels, including OEMs, VARs, and system integrators, to expand market reach and scalability
  • Identifying new opportunities: Proactively uncover and develop new business opportunities across target industries and applications
  • Strengthen customer relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key customers and strategic accounts to position ISC as a preferred partner
  • Collaborating cross-functionally: Partner closely with Global Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Business Development teams to align execution and drive results
  • Ensuring global alignment: Balance regional priorities with global strategic initiatives, advocating for market-specific needs and opportunities
  • Own forecasting and performance: Drive accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and consistent quota attainment across the region
  • Managing pipeline effectively: Monitor, analyze, develop, and optimize pipeline performance to ensure sustainable, predictable growth
  • Reporting and communicating outcomes: Provide clear, data-driven updates on performance, including risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies
  • Supporting sales operations excellence: Contribute to the development and execution of sales incentive plans and ensure disciplined CRM usage (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Developing talent: Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and career development to strengthen team capabilities and retention
  • Remote leader: You will coach and develop a fully remote sales team while operating in a 100% remote environment

Your Experience and Background include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; technical education or background is preferred
  • Ten+ years of progressive sales and leadership experience in relevant industries
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Demonstrated success leading remote sales teams with responsibility for generating significant revenue (e.g., €30M+)
  • Proven ability to lead through change and drive organizational transformation
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering long-term value
  • Extensive experience selling complex, technical solutions in a consultative environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to interpret complex business and financial data and translate insights into action
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and business planning capabilities
  • Background or strong affinity for technical products; experience in RFID tags and labeling technologies is a plus
  • Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels, including Engineering, Procurement, and C-suite
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of channel-based sales models, including OEMs, VARs, and integration partners
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and highly self-motivated
