The EMEIA Ecosystem Alliance Relationship Director (ARD) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing EY’s alliance and ecosystem strategy across EMEIA for the most strategic alliance relationships. The Director plays a critical role integrating the Global alliance strategy into Region and Country priorities working to ensure a cohesive, impactful approach to these alliances.
The Director will work closely with Global Alliance Leaders, Global and Regional ARDs, and EMEIA leadership teams to operationalize the EMEIA Alliance Strategy. You will lead engagement across EY’s priority alliance partners—including Microsoft, SAP, NVIDIA, ServiceNow, and key data vendors—cultivating senior executive relationships and elevating EY’s presence in the EMEIA partner ecosystem.
You will oversee alliance governance and execution excellence across the EMEIA regions, driving consistent cadence across relationship collaboration, program oversight, compliance, and performance intelligence. You will embed alliance strategy into Premier and Strategic Accounts by aligning and enabling teams to deliver measurable joint outcomes.

Your key responsibilities
Your role will sit within the Alliance & Ecosystem Relationship team, serving as the senior integrator across global, regional, and in-country teams to activate, govern, and expand EY’s most strategic alliance partnerships across EMEIA.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop the EMEIA alliance strategy that integrates Global thru Region priorities, working alongside Global Partner Operations and EMEIA Leadership to ensure cohesive alliance execution and alignment and accountability across Global, Region, and local teams.
- Partner with Global Alliance Leaders, Global/Regional ARDs, Premier & Strategic Account GCSPs, and Sales Executives to execute the Area Alliance Strategy and influence global priorities through an EMEIA lens.
- Champion EY’s alliance agenda across EMEIA, reinforcing the strategic importance and commercial potential of our priority alliances—including Microsoft, SAP, NVIDIA, ServiceNow, and key data vendors.
- Manage governance and relationship engagement with EMEIA leadership across alliance partners, ensuring a disciplined cadence across business reviews, governance forums, and planning cycles.
- With EMEIA Leadership, Global Alliance leadership, and Region GTM Leaders, develop Area Alliance sales and GTER targets, oversee the Area go-to-market plan, and drive measurable alliances sourced revenue across the region.
- Lead end-to-end alliance operations, including business planning, activation, contracting and compliance, performance intelligence, and partner program enablement.
- Oversee quarterly business reviews, ensuring clear follow through and impact. Monitor performance through dashboards and KPIs, escalating to Area and Region Leadership as needed.
- Act as the connector between global strategy and local execution, sharing playbooks, assets, and best practices.
- Strengthen engagement with Service Line, Sector, and account teams to embed alliance strategies into priority accounts.
- Partner with Global and Region BMC teams to drive consistent joint messaging and campaigns.
- Share competitive intelligence, insights, and EMEIA best practices across the global Alliance & Ecosystem network.
- Influence global programs by representing EMEIA market realities and client needs.

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Strong executive presence and proven ability to build trusted senior executive level relationships with alliance partners and EY leadership.
- Able to juggle many activities and provide enablement services in the areas of: relationship management, governance oversight, marketing strategy, contract management, financial management, content management, operational support, strong relationship building skills and is highly organized.
- Understanding of technology and business benefits of relevant alliance partner products and solutions.
- Experience in alliance management or business development for technology or professional services company.
- Experience and evidence of success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships.
- Strong networking and influence management skills result in driving actions to outcomes and delivering results actions across organizational boundaries.
- Highly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and proven track record delivering alliance sales and revenues.
