About the Role
The Royal Surrey County Hospital Emergency Department cares for around 75,000 patients each year, delivering high quality, compassionate care to our local community. As our service continues to grow and evolve, we are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 Emergency Care Practitioner (ENP/ECP/EPP) to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team.
Our department has introduced innovative patient pathways that have significantly improved patient flow, experience, and overall performance. We are a motivated, energetic team with a shared commitment to delivering the highest standards of evidence-based emergency care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centred assessment, examination, diagnosis, treatment, referral, and discharge for patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses.
- Work within locally agreed protocols and Patient Group Directives.
- Utilize clinical and diagnostic skills competently and autonomously.

Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ experience working autonomously in an emergency environment.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Independent Nurse Prescribing is desirable but not essential.
