Band 2 - Various hours available
To provide a general reception service to all personnel who access the Emergency Department and Clinical Decisions Unit. This includes contact with the general public as well as a wide range of other healthcare professionals. The post holder will be required to use a designated computer system to enter patient data, combined with general office and clerical duties.
Important Notice on Visa Sponsorship Eligibility
Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.

- To answer all telephone queries relating to patient’s attendance and general advice, re-directing to the appropriate source where necessary.
- Effective communication between clinical and non-clinical staff with the trust.
- Responsibility for Patient Care
- To alert the triage nurse of any potentially unwell patients you may have booked into the department.
