Based in one of the world's busiest and most diverse cities, the London Ambulance Service offers a unique and dynamic career supporting people across all walks of London life.
As a qualified AAP (Assistant Ambulance Practitioner) or EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), you will provide high-quality emergency and urgent care, assessing and treating patients at the scene, referring them to other healthcare providers, or transporting them safely to appropriate treatment centers when necessary.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform effectively under pressure, and flexibility when responding to a wide range of patient needs. You will be expected to uphold the Trust's core values and behaviors while delivering excellent patient care.
Successful candidates will be placed onto a dedicated Overlay Roster for a minimum period of 12 months.
The Overlay Roster has been designed to support operational resilience across London and provides additional workforce capacity where demand is highest. As a result, the roster will contain a higher proportion of unsocial hours than standard operational rosters.
