About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Emerging Channels Sales & Operations Manager to lead the growth of our SDA business across new and rapidly developing retail channels.
The role will take ownership of the sales performance and day-to-day commercial operations of channels including TikTok Shop, Affiliate Marketing, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), and other emerging digital retail opportunities.
This is a hands-on commercial role combining sales, ecommerce operations, digital marketing, channel development, and performance management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing these channels into sustainable and scalable revenue streams, working closely with internal teams and external partners to drive traffic, conversion, revenue, and profitability.
Main Responsibilities
Emerging Channel Sales & Strategy
- Own the sales performance of SDA across TikTok Shop, D2C, Affiliate, and other emerging retail channels.
- Develop and execute channel strategies, sales plans, and promotional calendars to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Identify and develop new digital commerce opportunities, platforms, partnerships, and routes to market.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activity, consumer behaviour, and emerging ecommerce trends to identify new growth opportunities.
- Build commercial forecasts and regularly review performance against agreed targets and KPIs.
TikTok Shop & Social Commerce
- Lead the commercial development and day-to-day operation of TikTok Shop for SDA.
- Develop product, pricing, promotion, campaign, and content strategies to maximise sales and conversion.
- Work with internal marketing teams, agencies, creators, and TikTok partners to develop livestream, short-form video, and social commerce initiatives.
- Analyse traffic, conversion, GMV, ROAS, and other key performance metrics to continuously improve channel performance.
- Identify hero products and promotional opportunities suitable for social commerce.
Affiliate Marketing
- Develop and manage the Affiliate Marketing programme to drive incremental traffic and sales.
- Identify, recruit, and develop relationships with affiliates, creators, publishers, influencers, and other commercial partners.
- Establish appropriate commission structures, promotional mechanics, and incentive programmes.
- Monitor affiliate performance, ROI, conversion, and incremental revenue, optimising investment towards the highest-performing partners.
- Explore opportunities to integrate affiliate activity with TikTok Shop, D2C, product launches, and wider marketing campaigns.

D2C Sales & Operations
- Support and drive the commercial performance of the company's Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channel for SDA.
- Own product assortment, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and sales planning for the channel.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure product availability, accurate product content, effective fulfilment, and a strong customer journey.
- Analyse website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, basket composition, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop D2C-exclusive promotions, bundles, launches, and other initiatives to strengthen the direct relationship with consumers.
Commercial & Operational Management
- Manage the end-to-end operational requirements of emerging sales channels, ensuring promotions, pricing, stock, product listings, content, and fulfilment are effectively coordinated.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, and other relevant teams to deliver channel plans.
- Manage promotional budgets and commercial investment to ensure activity delivers an appropriate return.
- Produce regular sales reports, forecasts, performance analysis, and recommendations for senior management.
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting frameworks for each emerging channel.
- Ensure channel activities support the wider SDA commercial strategy and brand positioning.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience within ecommerce, digital sales, or emerging retail channels.
- Demonstrable experience of driving online sales and delivering against commercial targets.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce trading principles, including pricing, promotions, conversion, traffic, and profitability.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse performance and translate insights into commercial actions.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional working skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment and taking ownership of developing channels from an early stage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial decision-making skills.
