About the Role
The Institutional Client Group (ICG) for Debt manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors across the full Debt product spectrum. ICG Debt combines the global capabilities of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents.
With leading market shares in nearly every product and region, the success relies on factors such as anticipating the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients’ business, developing the latest eCommerce and Clearing platforms, and leveraging the Bank’s product, research and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions which are customized to meet the specific requirements of each individual client.
You will be part of our EM (Emerging Markets) Sales team partnering with EM Trading to sell the suite of EM products, including Foreign Exchange (FX), Rates, Options, Credit Default Swaps (CDS), as well as more complex cross-market derivatives.

Your key responsibilities
- Proactively driving sales coverage of EM liquid and illiquid products across UK and rest of the world non-EEA (European Economic Area) macro clients including asset managers and hedge funds
- Interacting with Trading on the EM product suite, leveraging the success of the cash and solutions franchise to help increase our market share
- Partnering with EM trading and structuring, as well as other sales colleagues within the team and within the product
- Advising on clearing, collateral/derivatives-documentation
- Working with Case Management, Credit, and Legal on new client relationships / funds
Your skills and experience
- Extensive knowledge of the Fixed Income products including Emerging Markets, with strong understanding of EM Products and EM Clients
- A strong sense of how macroeconomic developments, be they slow moving or instantaneous, which are beneficially for the largest, sophisticated investors
- Proven track record covering this client segment or similar
- Deep knowledge across this product base (including their derivatives)
- Entrepreneurial skills to prioritize resources to maximize outcome and value for client
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
