The Opportunity
This role provides timely and accurate dealing services for clients within Global Markets while managing the firm’s inventory and trading risk under supervision. You’ll operate in a highly regulated environment where disciplined execution and robust controls matter every day. Working closely with Sales and trading colleagues you’ll help deliver consistent pricing and market-making to clients. The role also plays a key part in ensuring trades are captured and booked correctly to front office systems on the day of execution. Success means reliable market support for clients, accurate trade processing, well-managed risk within position limits and strong collaboration across regions and functions.
What you'll be doing
- Maintain risk positions within agreed limits while supporting desk revenue objectives through liquidity provision and trade ideas
- Execute firm and customer trades in line with desk Volcker designation and agreed trading approach
- Provide consistent pricing and market-making to the sales force and target clients
- Monitor daily electronic trading activity and determine appropriate routing for execution
- Ensure correct ticket entry and order routing and complete booking to the front office position keeping system on trade date
- Partner with the sales desk to maintain clear communication and resolve settlement issues efficiently
- Reconcile daily and/or monthly reports as assigned and investigate breaks to closure
- Develop client relationships by anticipating needs and providing responsive market support within the assigned area

What we're looking for
- Proven experience delivering dealing services and executing trades within a trading desk environment
- Demonstrate hands-on capability managing inventory and trading risk under defined position limits and controls
- Apply strong discipline in trade capture, booking and ticket accuracy within front office processes
- Show experience monitoring electronic trading flows including execution routing and post-trade accuracy checks
- Use practical knowledge of market-making and pricing to support sales coverage and client outcomes
- Partner effectively with Sales and internal stakeholders across regions, countries, functions and global businesses
- Operate in line with applicable regulations and internal policies including maintaining clear records and escalation where needed
- Contribute to operational improvements by recommending changes to procedures and supporting management information, reporting and governance frameworks
