  • Monitor individual trainees progress throughout their programmes, ensuring clear plans are set and challenging progression targets are agreed and reviewed for every individual, this also includes tracking timely academic achievement as well as recorded progression in work-based learning through the selection of relevant apprenticeship standards.
  • Work closely with our learning providers to understand learner progress, and opportunities for continuous improvement and curriculum enrichment.
  • Ensure smooth transition of completing trainees into substantive roles.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of inductions and wider company training (either technical or personal).
  • Co-ordinate and utilise our early career talent to engage with external groups to further promote the career opportunities available to join the business such as through schools events and STEM clubs.
  • Support careers / recruitment events which may take place outside of normal working hours.
  • Support other department activities such as work experience placements, through using your own specific expertise for the benefit of the wider Emerging Talent agenda.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
