What You'll Do

Please note this is a 10-month temporary role.

The EMESA People PA Manager is part of the EMESA People PA Team. Each of the team members acts as People PA Manager for 2 PAs, all on EMESA level, and thus each works closely with different R-PALs and PA Leadership Teams. Together as a team they collaborate by defining common approaches to the responsibilities described below, by establishing relationships with the central functions (CD, Staffing, Finance, Analytics, etc.), by sharing Best Practices, and by implementing new people-related approaches and strategies on EMESA level.

The EMESA People PA Manager is working closely with the R-PAL and the Regional Leadership Team of their 2 PAs, to help define and deliver the People Agenda for the 2 PAs on Regional level, based on each PA’s plans and pyramid implications. The People PA Manager collaborates with the local and regional HR functions (EH Recruiting, Staffing, Career Development, ECT) and with the PA (Regional PA Manager, GPMD) to deliver on the defined priorities. The EMESA People PA Manager will be expected to dedicate 50% of their time to each of the PAs covered.

Key activities include:

  • Partner with the R-PAL and the PA Leadership Team to define and drive the PA People Plan and resulting People Agenda for the PA, based on growth ambitions, PA priorities, and pyramid & gap analyses
  • Act as discussion partner for the R-PAL, the PA People MDP, the D&I MDP, the PA Nodes and the Sector/Topic Leaders regarding all people-related projects and initiatives of the PA on Regional level
  • Hold the PA Nodes accountable for strong people pyramids in their systems, manage the MDP Pipeline by leading the discussions with the R-PAL, System Nodes and other relevant stakeholders
  • Strengthen the PA on EMESA level by creating EMESA-wide transparency on the availability pipeline, people pipeline, and PA topic expertise for Lead Affiliated PPPLs and ECTers
  • Work with analytics teams to prepare analyses and reports, e.g. performance reporting on key PA People KPI's, PA-specific People Survey result analysis, etc., and facilitate the related discussions
  • Initiate, lead and/or support special People projects for the PA and act as sparring partner for all people topics for the PA
  • Coordinate the efforts on PA D&I initiatives, including Gender metrics, W@PA Network, review of W pipeline
  • Prepare and facilitate PA leadership team calls/meetings, take the lead on tailored people initiatives, present PA people topics to PA leadership, summarize findings and ensure that actions are followed up on as agreed

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Significant BCG experience required. Candidates may come from a range of backgrounds including People & HR, Talent Management, Staffing, Career Development, Recruiting, Business Management, or the Consulting Team (typically at Consultant/Project Leader level or equivalent).

Compensation Information:

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, and a market-leading benefits package described below. The annual base salary range for this role if hosted in Milan is EUR56,000 – EUR65,000

This is an estimated range. Any final offer would be based on objective, role-related criteria such as your relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills. Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
