Employability Coordinator
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employability Coordinator to join our Employability team at Kingston College!
As Employability Coordinator, you will build on our existing external employer partnerships, build new ones and oversee the monitoring and organisation of Work Placements and Employability activities for our full-time learners.
Working with the Head of Employability, you will ensure all our Study Programme/T-Level learners gain meaningful work experience/industry placements, adhere to health and safety policies and practices and monitor and record work experience/placements on college systems.
We’re looking for someone who is confident and engaging – someone who can develop proactive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. With high personal standards and expectations, you will work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines, and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem solving.
You will ideally hold a degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject and be active and experienced in generating employer links across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain external employer partnerships
- Oversee monitoring and organisation of Work Placements and Employability activities
- Ensure Study Programme/T-Level learners gain meaningful work experience/industry placements
- Adhere to health and safety policies and practices
- Monitor and record work experience/placements on college systems
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject
- Active and experienced in generating employer links across a wide range of industries
