Role Description

The Facilitator for Employability Skills & Progression workshop will deliver 2 days of structured, in-person interactive training sessions in York on the 15th and 16th October to support learners in developing core employability skills and planning their career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing workshop materials
  • Delivering on-site sessions in York, UK
  • Guiding participants through activities on CV building
  • Interview preparation, communication skills, and workplace readiness
  • Providing constructive feedback to support individual development

The facilitator will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that workshop content aligns with Primed Talent’s standards and clients’ requirements. This is a contract role and requires on-site presence in York, UK. The workshop will be delivered with a focus on creating inclusive, engaging learning environments for diverse participant groups.

  • Availability to deliver 2 days of structured, in-person interactive training sessions in York on the 15th and 16th October to support learners in developing core employability skills
  • Comfort working on-site in York for 2 days, with reliability and punctuality for scheduled workshop sessions
  • Strong facilitation and training delivery skills, with experience leading group workshops or classroom-based learning
  • Knowledge of employability skills, career coaching, or progression pathways, ideally within further education, adult learning, or workforce development
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learner groups
  • Ability to plan sessions, organise learning resources, and adapt content to different learning styles and levels
  • Experience working with learners from varied backgrounds, with a commitment to inclusive practice and equal opportunities
  • Strong administrative skills, including maintaining attendance, progress records, and reporting outcomes to stakeholders
  • Relevant qualification in training, guidance, or a related field (e.g., teaching, coaching, or L&D) is desirable
  • Background in employability, recruitment, careers advice, or HR is beneficial
  • Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo any necessary background checks
