Overview: Employability Tutor
Reporting to the Curriculum Manager, this role will require the successful candidate to set targets with learners to develop and progress through their Employability programme.
Learners will be studying towards Employability Level 1 & 2 qualifications, in a classroom setting.
The role is Centre based in Doncaster and is a full-time, permanent position.
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Salary/Benefits: Employability Tutor
- £27k-£28k starting salary (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Qualifications and Competencies: Employability Tutor
Essential:
- Previous classroom delivery experience
- AET or above teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, CertEd, PGCE)
- OR
- Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32 etc)
Purpose of the role: Employability Tutor
- Classroom based teaching delivery role
- Employability Level 1 and 2
- Functional Skills delivery up to Level 1
- Maintain standards in accordance with guidelines set by the DfE
- Manage administration of company systems, procedures and responsibilities
- Maintain delivery standards in accordance with the Common Inspection Framework (CIF) and formulate development plans for ongoing improvement

Duties/Responsibilities: Employability Tutor
- Review learners progress in accordance with contractual requirements and company systems
- Identify learners support needs e.g. Functional Skills and Soft Skills
- Evaluate and document learner progress
- Ensure targets are met by learners
- Agree and set targets with learners to develop and progress through the programme
- Ensure target setting motivates the learner and give written and verbal feedback on progression towards agreed targets
