Employee Communications Manager – Financial Services

London | Hybrid (3 days office)
circa £65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A leading international financial services organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Internal Communications professional to join its regional communications function.

This is a broad and highly visible role suited to someone with a proven track record delivering employee communications within a complex financial services or professional services environment. Working closely with senior leaders and business stakeholders, you will develop and execute communication strategies that drive employee engagement, support business transformation, enhance leadership visibility, and strengthen understanding of organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic internal communications programmes aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to create engaging communications that inform, connect, and inspire employees.
  • Support leadership communications, including presentations, key messaging, and executive updates.
  • Create compelling content across a range of channels including intranet, email, video, digital platforms, and employee events.
  • Deliver communications supporting change, transformation, and people-focused initiatives.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practice communication approaches and audience engagement.
  • Manage multiple communication projects and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness through analytics, feedback, and engagement metrics.
  • Build strong relationships across business areas to ensure consistent and effective messaging.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, or Employee Communications.
  • Experience gained within financial services, banking, insurance, consulting, legal, or another professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated success delivering employee engagement, change communications, or organisational communications programmes.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and highly organised.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
