Our client is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join their Human Resources team on a temporary basis, for a 3-month duration. Candidates will need to be available either immediately or within a one week period.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid employee relations experience to really build and develop their ER expertise. This role offers the chance to work closely with a HR Business Partner, managing a high volume of Employee Relations cases, in an exceptionally busy organisation, with a large headcount.

The role will include:

  • Managing first line of employee relations cases including sickness absence misconduct, capability and grievances
  • Utilising the ER Case management system, Odin

£35,000 to £38,000 (pro-rata)

Candidates will need to be available either immediately or within a one week period.

Preferred Requirements

  • Proven experience in employee relations, with a track record of managing sensitive HR matters professionally
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practice in UK HR
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels
  • Experience conducting investigations, mediating disputes, and documenting HR processes clearly
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience of Odin would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Employee Relations experience from retail, hospitality, leisure and restaurant sectors would be of relevance

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification in HR or Employee Relations
  • Experience working in a UK employment relations environment
  • Familiarity with HR information systems and case management tools
