Ever tried to keep employee relations consistent across a business that's acquiring companies faster than most policies can keep up? That's the reality for whoever joins us as Employee Relations Business Partner on a 10 to 11 month maternity cover contract, based at our St Mary's Axe office in London, working 3 days a week from the office. Reporting to the Senior Partner, Employee Relations, you'll cover London, the South East, South West & Thames Valley.

Lomond is one of the UK's largest & fastest growing property services groups, & growth at that pace puts real pressure on how consistently people are managed on the ground. This role sits right in the middle of that, resolving complex cases, supporting change activity & building manager capability across a multi-brand, acquisitive business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Resolve complex employee relations cases fairly, compliantly & within agreed timescales, reducing risk to the business
  • Lead disciplinary & grievance processes end to end, from investigation through to well-documented outcomes
  • Manage long-term absence & capability cases in line with occupational health guidance & employment law
  • Facilitate protected conversations & settlement discussions with the right documentation & governance in place
  • Support redundancy, restructuring & TUPE activity in line with statutory obligations & agreed project plans
  • Prepare case documentation & evidence to support legal review & Employment Tribunal preparation
  • Analyse employee relations data & trends, turning insight into practical recommendations for operational leaders
  • Coach & support managers & Employee Relations Advisors, building confidence & consistency in case management

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
