Employee Relations HR Advisor

Location: Egham/Slough/Windsor
Contract Type: Temporary

What You'll Do

As our Employee Relations HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our employees feel valued and heard. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievances.
  • Collaborating with managers to facilitate effective communication and enhance team dynamics.
  • Conducting investigations into employee concerns and providing recommendations based on findings.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace environment.
  • Delivering training and workshops to equip staff with the tools they need to manage employee relations effectively.
  • Staying up-to-date with employment legislation and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Who You Are

We are looking for a cheerful yet professional individual who embodies the spirit of our educational ethos. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in employee relations or HR advisory roles, preferably within the education sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to connect with employees at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine interest in promoting employee well-being.
  • A solid understanding of employment law and best practices in human resources.
  • Relevant HR qualifications, such as CIPD, would be a bonus!
  • Enhanced DBS is required, either on the update service or new.
  • Must be able to DRIVE to Egham, Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead.
