Axiom is supporting a large global technology company seeking a detail-oriented Employee Relations Investigation Note Taker to support its UK investigations team.

Meetings typically last between one and three hours and may involve several issues, interpreters or trade union representatives. You’ll need to stay focused throughout sensitive discussions and feel confident asking participants to repeat or clarify information when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Take detailed notes during investigation, grievance, and disciplinary meetings, capturing what is said as accurately as possible.
  • Ask participants to repeat or clarify points where needed.
  • Help manage breaks and adjournments during meetings.
  • Review, tidy, and finalize notes promptly after each meeting.
  • Work with Case Managers, who coordinate meeting schedules and allocate assignments.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with care.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Junior to mid-level experience in HR, employee relations, law, or a related area.
  • Excellent listening, typing, and written communication skills.
  • Experience taking detailed notes during investigations, employee relations matters, legal proceedings, or similarly sensitive meetings.
  • The ability to maintain concentration and accuracy during meetings lasting up to three hours.
  • Confidence speaking up when clarification is needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet meeting and note-completion deadlines.
  • An understanding of confidentiality and the importance of maintaining an accurate record.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
