Temporary Vacancy – Employee Relations Manager
Location: Cambridge CB2 (initially onsite then hybrid)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Hourly rate: £25
Contract Type: Temporary
Venn Group is recruiting on behalf of a large public sector organisation for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with a strong employee relations background to provide expert advice and support across a complex and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of employee relations cases, partner with managers at all levels, and contribute to the delivery of an effective people strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, capability and sickness absence matters
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers in line with employment legislation and Trust policies
- Support managers through investigations, formal hearings and appeals
- Build effective relationships with operational and senior managers
- Deliver training and coaching on employee relations matters
- Support organisational change and workforce initiatives as required
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with current employment law and best practice

Candidate Requirements
- CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Previous public sector experience is highly desirable
