Job Description
Hours and Salary
School hours or part-time hours, 20-25 hours, ideally over 5 days with 3 days in office, open to discussing. £60,000 pro-rata.
About the Role
We are looking for someone to delve into our Employee Relations and own our ER strategy and development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with managers, guide them through difficult conversations, providing advice and training.
- Coaching on investigations, formal processes, so they ultimately take ownership.
- Involved in escalated and complex cases, sharing your expertise and providing legally compliant advice and guidance.
- Delve into the ER cases, the reasoning, how they were managed, the outcomes.
- Analyse and use your findings for new initiatives, to help mitigate at root cause and ensure measures are put in place for better handling and resolutions in the future.
- Love getting into the detail, collaborating, tracking, and monitoring the data and reporting trends and your findings.
- Fostering employee engagement, promoting fair and consistent people practices, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Feeding your findings and recommendations into the full employee life cycle, from recruitment, people policies, processes, wellbeing initiatives, and management capability.

Requirements
- You may have a generalist HR background.
- Significant experience of managing complex employee relations matters.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
