Employee Relations Specialist – 6 Month FTC
West London
Up to £60k
HRLife are working with a fantastic, fast-moving business in the digital media and technology space to find an experienced Employee Relations Specialist for a six-month FTC.
It's a busy time for the People team, with plenty going on across the business, and they're looking for someone who can come in, hit the ground running and provide some much-needed hands-on ER expertise.
This is a role for someone who really knows their stuff when it comes to employee relations. Someone who enjoys getting stuck into a varied caseload, can confidently navigate tricky people situations and knows how to bring matters to a sensible, fair and timely resolution.
You'll be working closely with the wider HR team and managers across the business, providing pragmatic advice and helping to keep things moving.

The Role Will Encompass:
- Managing a varied ER caseload, from straightforward matters through to more complex and sensitive situations.
- Supporting managers with grievances, disciplinaries, performance and probation issues.
- Advising on both short and long-term absence cases.
- Supporting redundancy and organisational change processes.
- Reviewing existing HR policies and processes, identifying what's working, what could be improved and ensuring they're fit for purpose.
- Coaching and guiding managers through ER matters, helping them build confidence and make sound decisions.
- Ensuring cases are managed consistently, fairly and in line with employment legislation.

You'll Have:
- Solid, hands-on employee relations experience and be comfortable taking ownership of cases and seeing them through to resolution.
- Be confident, approachable and commercially minded, with the ability to build relationships quickly and provide clear, practical advice.
- Be someone who can balance the needs of the business with doing the right thing for its people.
You'll be joining a busy, collaborative People team, so being adaptable, organised and happy to roll your sleeves up will be important.
