The Challenge

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you'll play an important role in fostering a positive, respectful and compliant workplace across our global business. Based in the UK and reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll primarily support EMEA while also providing assistance across North America and APAC.

As part of our collaborative global Employee Relations team, you will independently manage straightforward workplace investigations from intake through to outcome. In addition, you'll provide day-to-day guidance to managers and employees on a broad range of employee relations topics, including performance management, disciplinary processes, workplace support, and the consistent application of company policies.

You'll also contribute to the development and implementation of global and local policies, guidance, training, and initiatives that help create a fair, respectful, and high-performing workplace.

Success in this role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as you'll work closely with employees at all levels of the organization, managers, HR Business Partners, Legal, Compliance, and People Operations. You'll be trusted to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and deliver practical, balanced advice while ensuring matters are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with our values and legal obligations.

This is an excellent opportunity to build expertise across a broad range of employee relations topics in a fast-paced, international environment.

What You’ll Take On

  • Independently manage straightforward workplace investigations from intake through to outcome, including conducting interviews, gathering and reviewing evidence, preparing investigation reports, delivering oral and written outcomes, facilitating stakeholder debriefs, and making objective findings and recommendations using sound judgment.
  • Own the day-to-day coordination of Occupational Health and Workplace Support cases across Europe, acting as the primary point of contact for our Occupational Health provider and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage referrals, workplace adjustment requests, and return-to-work processes in accordance with company policies and local employment legislation.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, disciplinary processes, workplace support, and policy application.
  • Support Global Workplace Support requests and help ensure matters are handled promptly, sensitively, and consistently.
  • Support the development and implementation of global and local policies, guidance materials, training content, and manager resources.
  • Present Employee Relations initiatives and deliver training sessions to HR, managers, and employees as required.
  • Ensure the fair, consistent, and appropriate application of internal policies, procedures, and processes across supported regions.
  • Build effective working relationships with HR teams, business leaders, Legal, Compliance, People Operations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of employee separation notices and related off-boarding documentation in specific countries.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential records, case files, and documentation.
  • Provide periodic reports to the HR team and analyze Employee Relations trends.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
