Job Role
We're Hiring: Employer Account Executive
At Seetec, we help people overcome barriers to employment and achieve their potential through our Employability and Health programmes. We're looking for a proactive Employer Account Executive to support our Youth Jobs Guarantee programme. You'll build relationships with local employers, secure quality job opportunities for young people, and help participants gain the skills and experience needed for sustainable employment.
You'll develop a strong network of employers, identify suitable vacancies, and work closely with Youth Employment Advisors to match participants with opportunities. You'll also provide ongoing support to employers, ensure compliance with programme requirements, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
We're seeking someone with experience in employer engagement, recruitment, account management, business development, or job brokerage in a target-driven environment. Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills are essential, along with knowledge of recruitment practices, local labour markets, and Microsoft 365/CRM systems.
Experience in employability, youth employment, welfare to work, or skills programmes is desirable, alongside a passion for helping young people succeed.

Location and Hours
- Location: Bristol & South Gloucestershire
- Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of employers and paid job opportunities to meet participant demand.
- Use local labour market intelligence and participant needs to identify and develop employment opportunities across a range of sectors.
- Develop strong employer partnerships, promoting the benefits and objectives of the Youth Jobs Guarantee programme.
- Ensure all opportunities meet programme requirements, including job quality, employment conditions, and development opportunities.
- Work closely with Youth Employment Advisors to match participants with suitable employment opportunities.
- Support employers throughout placements, helping to resolve issues and maximise participant retention.
- Conduct employer due diligence and compliance checks, identifying and escalating risks where necessary.
- Monitor employer engagement and participant progression to drive positive outcomes.
- Encourage and support employers to provide sustainable, unsubsidised employment opportunities following funded placements.
- Maintain accurate employer, vacancy, and compliance records to support reporting, audit, and performance requirements.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience of employer engagement, business development, recruitment, account management, or job brokerage within a target-driven environment.
- Strong relationship management, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convert employer engagement into suitable employment opportunities.
- Good understanding of recruitment and employment practices, including the factors that support effective onboarding, retention, and progression.
- Clear understanding of the local labour market and ability to use insight to identify and develop employment opportunities.
- Confident using Microsoft 365, CRM, or case management systems and management information.
- Ability and willingness to travel across the designated delivery area as required.

Desirable
- Experience within employment support, youth employment, welfare-to-work, skills, or another publicly funded programme.
- Experience of creating employment opportunities for people who may face barriers to work.
- Knowledge of grant-funded employment, wage subsidy, or apprenticeship programmes.
- Relevant qualification in recruitment, sales, account management, employability, or business development.
