Employer Account Manager Bury
Salary: £28,325.00 & Company Benefits with scope to earn performance bonus based on achievement of KPIs and passing 6 months probation. (This will be discussed further at final interview).
Contract: Permanent Fixed Office Worker
Full Time: Monday - Friday 09.00am -17.00pm
Location: Bury Office (May be required to cover other Greater Manchester offices)
Hours: 37.5 per week
We are currently looking for an Account Manager to cover our Bury office.
As our Employer Account Manager on the Restart Scheme, you will play a key role in creating sustainable employment opportunities for participants across Bury and the wider Greater Manchester labour market.
You would work closely with local employers, Restart Advisors, community partners and stakeholders. You will maintain a strong understanding of local labour market trends, emerging sectors, growth opportunities and employer recruitment challenges, using this insight to shape employer engagement activity and generate job outcomes.
This is a highly visible role requiring regular travel across the local area to visit employers, attend networking events, and build productive partnerships with organisations that influence employment and economic growth.
What you will be doing as our Employer Account Manager:
Employer Engagement & Business Development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers across key sectors including logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, construction, health and social care, retail, hospitality, customer service and professional services.
- Identify businesses that are expanding, recruiting, experiencing skills shortages or investing within the Bury and Greater Manchester area.
- Conduct regular employer visits to understand recruitment needs, workforce challenges and future hiring plans.
- Promote the value of the Restart Scheme and position Ingeus as a trusted recruitment and workforce partner.
- Build long-term employer partnerships that create repeat recruitment opportunities and positive participant outcomes.

- Act as an ambassador for Ingeus and the Restart Scheme across the local business and employability community.
- Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders including:
- Local Authorities and Economic Development Teams
- Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and local business networks
- Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)
- Jobcentre Plus Partnership Teams
- Greater Manchester Growth Hub and business support organisations
- Training providers, colleges and skills organisations
- Recruitment agencies and industry bodies
- Attend networking events, employer forums, job fairs, business conferences, employment and skills boards, and other stakeholder events to promote Ingeus services and develop employment opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with employers and strategic partners to identify workforce needs, skills gaps, and future recruitment opportunities across Bury and Greater Manchester.
- Share labour market intelligence and local economic insights with Restart Advisors and operational teams to support participant progression and employment outcomes.
- Identify opportunities arising from local investment, regeneration projects, business growth and sector expansion to create sustainable employment pathways for participants.
Recruitment & Vacancy Management
- Work with employers to understand recruitment requirements and agree suitable attraction, screening and selection processes.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns, information sessions, interviews, assessment activities and employer presentations.
- Collaborate with Restart Advisors to ensure participants are suitably prepared and matched to vacancies.
- Support employers with tailored recruitment solutions, including job carving, work trials and placement opportunities where appropriate.
- Gather and communicate employer feedback to support participant development and future recruitment activity.
- Ensure vacancies are promoted effectively and accessible to suitable participants across the contract.
Performance & Collaboration
- Contribute towards contractual performance targets by generating employment opportunities that lead to job starts and sustained outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of employer engagement activity, vacancies and participant outcomes using company systems.
- Provide regular updates on employer activity, recruitment campaigns, labour market trends and emerging opportunities.
- Ensure all activity is delivered in line with contractual requirements, GDPR and company procedures.

Qualifications
As our Employer Account Manager you will have:
- A strong understanding of local labour market trends, employer needs and recruitment practices.
- Experience in employer engagement, account management, recruitment, business development or employability services.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently with employers, stakeholders and community partners.
- Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- The ability to identify opportunities and convert employer engagement into sustainable employment outcomes.
