Job Overview

As Employer Brand Content Lead, you'll be responsible for developing compelling employer brand narratives that effectively communicate AXA UK's Employee Value Proposition, showcase colleague stories, and reflect our organisational culture. Your role will involve crafting engaging, authentic, and consistent content across various channels to enhance AXA UK's employer brand and attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain Employer Brand editorial standards, content approach, and storytelling framework.
  • Translate organisational stories, colleague experiences, and the Employee Value Proposition into compelling employer brand content.
  • Plan and deliver content for Employer Brand campaigns and recruitment marketing across relevant channels.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and ensure consistency of Employer Brand messaging and tone.
  • Work closely with the Employer Brand Strategy Manager and Creative Lead to deliver integrated, audience-appropriate campaigns.
  • Provide specialist editorial and storytelling guidance across Employer Brand initiatives.
  • Monitor content performance and engagement and recommend improvements to content quality and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate external copywriters, content agencies, media production partners, social platform partners, and creative suppliers as required.

Work Arrangements

At AXA, we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients, or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong professional experience in content strategy, editorial, copywriting, storytelling, employer brand, marketing, or communications.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create authentic, engaging content for different audiences and channels.
  • Strong understanding of editorial standards, content planning, tone of voice, and brand consistency.
  • Experience translating organisational propositions, colleague stories, and campaign briefs into effective content.
  • Ability to use content and campaign performance insight to improve editorial effectiveness.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills across creative, marketing, recruitment, and People teams.
