Freelance Employer Branding Executive

Freelance | Approx. 4 Days Per Month | Flexible | Remote with Occasional Site Visits

Help shape the story behind one of hospitality's fastest-growing companies.

At Heartwood Collection, we believe our people are what make us exceptional. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative Freelance Employer Branding Executive to help showcase our culture, people, and career opportunities through engaging digital content and authentic storytelling.

This is a flexible freelance opportunity, ideal for someone with experience in employer branding, social media, or content creation who enjoys bringing brands to life and can work independently while collaborating closely with our Recruitment, People, and Marketing teams.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll take ownership of our employer brand across digital channels, creating engaging content that attracts future talent and strengthens our reputation as an employer of choice.

  • Developing and evolving our employer brand across digital platforms.
  • Creating engaging social media content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Capturing authentic stories from our pubs, brasseries, and Head Office teams.
  • Showcasing career progression, employee success stories, and business milestones.
  • Producing content around new openings, recruitment campaigns, and company events.
  • Planning and managing an employer brand content calendar.
  • Working alongside Recruitment and Marketing to ensure a consistent employer message.
  • Monitoring engagement and using insights to continually improve performance.

About You

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has experience in employer branding, social media, marketing, or digital content creation.
  • Is a confident storyteller with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Can create engaging visual and written content.
  • Understands how to build audiences across social media platforms.
  • Is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing their own workload.
  • Enjoys working with people and capturing authentic moments.
  • Has an interest in hospitality and people-focused businesses.

The Opportunity

  • Freelance contract
  • 4 days per month
  • Flexible working hours around agreed deliverables
  • Mostly remote, with site visits to our restaurants, pubs, and Head Office to capture content
  • Opportunity to build and shape the employer brand of a growing hospitality business
