About the role

The Employer Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong employer relationships that create sustainable employment opportunities for learners across ASF, Skills Bootcamps and Employability programmes.

Working with Delivery, Progressions and Partnerships, the role secures vacancies, interviews and employment outcomes. The role has no line management responsibility.

Strategic responsibilities

  • Develop employer engagement strategies.
  • Build employer partnerships.
  • Secure vacancies and interviews.
  • Represent LMP at employer events.
  • Monitor employer KPIs and labour market intelligence.

Operational responsibilities

  • Develop employer relationships.
  • Secure vacancies and recruitment opportunities.
  • Work with Progressions Officers and Tutors to match learners.
  • Support contractual Good Work outcomes.
  • Assist the Progressions Team to track interviews, job offers, employment starts and sustained employment.
  • Maintain employer records and evidence.

Change management/leading innovation

  • Share labour market intelligence.
  • Improve employer engagement.
  • Support innovation in employment outcomes.

About you

Background and experience

  • Proven employer engagement, recruitment, business development or account management experience.

Skills, knowledge and qualifications

  • Knowledge of ASF and Skills Bootcamps.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • CRM and reporting skills.

Competencies and behaviours

  • Excellent relationship building.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Organised and target driven.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and GDPR.
