Employer Partnership Adviser – Student Employment

Derby College Group (DCG) is recruiting for an Employer Partnership Adviser – Student Employment to join our amazing Student Employment team. This role is based at our incredible Roundhouse Campus. The Opportunity

As an Employer Partnership Adviser, you'll be the link between local businesses and talented students, helping employers find the right people while creating exciting opportunities for young people to start their careers. You'll build relationships with employers, understand their recruitment needs and work creatively to promote jobs, part-time roles and graduate opportunities to students across Derby College Group.

From engaging with employers, attending recruitment events to supporting students with applications and career opportunities, you'll play a key role in helping both businesses and individuals succeed. If you're a people person who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and making a real difference, this is a chance to help students take their next step while supporting employers to grow their future workforce.

About You

You'll be highly organised and comfortable working in a busy environment. From managing vacancies and employer communications to supporting recruitment activity and responding to enquiries, you'll be able to balance demands while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and a high standard of customer service.

You'll be a strong team player who enjoys working with a wide range of people and building positive relationships with employers, students and colleagues. We're looking for someone who is proactive, approachable and reliable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. Most importantly, you'll be committed to providing a professional and responsive service that supports both employers and students throughout their recruitment journey. Ideally, you will also bring experience in employer engagement, presentations, events, or interview support, along with a commitment to delivering an outstanding recruitment service that creates opportunities for students and meets employer needs.
