Employer Support Administrator
Capita Pensions Solutions is seeking a Employer Support Administrators/Advisors to join our team on a permanent basis. This role primarily involves contact centre duties with some administrative tasks. If you're a confident individual with commercial awareness, who enjoys engaging with clients over the phone, this position could be a great fit for you!
Our offices are located in Darlington, and we offer face-to-face training for those living nearby. We are also open to hiring candidates who prefer fully remote work, with quarterly visits to the office.
Please note this role will be working on an account that is expected to transfer to a new provider under TUPE in Oct 2026. Please only apply if you are comfortable with this

Job Description:
- Salary: £25,155.00 per annum
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, with shift patterns between the core hours of 8.30am and 6pm, 37.5 hours per week
What you’ll be doing:
- Handling a large influx of both inbound & outbound calls in relation to the project & onboarding tasks you will be working on.
- Demonstrating strategic knowledge of the clients that require support – understanding their business objectives and providing appropriate solutions whilst displaying a genuine interest in their business.
- Being responsible for supporting effective onboarding delivery and enable efficiencies and improvements.
- Working closely with the Projects team to ensure supportive collaboration between teams.
- Taking on varied admin tasks throughout the day to assist the team leaders and to meet KPI’s.
- Training & aligning yourself with the team and other dependent business partners ensuring optimum project aligned tasks & Implementation processes are followed.
- Updating CRM accurately & supporting with any MI requirements.

What we are looking for (ALL ESSENTIAL):
- Proven experience in a customer service environment, handling both inbound and outbound calls, with a high volume of over 50 calls per day.
- Strong customer focus & a great telephone manner.
- Successful track record in building relationships with key stakeholders & clients.
- Proven experience in administration, with the ability to develop and execute project related tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- A self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate with the ability to work towards tight deadlines and KPI’s, with minor supervision.
- Minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths & English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with good Excel skills for data handling and analysis.
