About The Role

Join our Apprenticeship Business Development Team as an Employer Support & Recruitment Co-ordinator, to help connect employers with talented apprentices across the region.

Based at College House in Leeds City Centre, this exciting role offers the opportunity to work closely with employers and prospective apprentices, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience from recruitment through to programme start.

We're looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused individual who enjoys building relationships and making a positive impact through apprenticeships.

What You Will Do

  • Engage with a range of employers to identify their workforce development needs and offer tailored skills solutions and services to support their growth and success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both levy-paying employers and SMEs, helping to expand the organisation’s employer partner network.
  • Represent the organisation at external events, meetings, and networking opportunities to establish and strengthen partnerships and promote our services.
  • Support prospective apprentices by preparing them for interviews, conducting Initial Assessments and Additional Learning Support (ALS) assessments, and delivering high-quality Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG).
  • Manage the advertisement of apprenticeship vacancies and assist employers with the use and administration of the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) platform.

About You

  • You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Have experience in recruitment, employer engagement, business development, customer service or a related field.
  • Be confident building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to generate new business and support employer growth.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently whilst contributing positively as part of a team.
  • Have good administrative and IT skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
