About the Role

As an Employment Associate, this is your chance to gain exposure to a mix of high stakes employment law matters and work with international corporate clients.

You’ll mostly work on the employer side, though will also get exposure to Senior Executive and employee representation work.

Being part of a small team, you will get lots of direct client contact and will make a real contribution to your clients businesses.

One day, you’ll be defending Employment Tribunal claims, and dealing with employee exits, the next, you’ll be handling corporate support, TUPE and advisory matters. You can therefore keep a broad skill set.

Examples of work include:

  • Advise employer clients on all aspects of employment law, including, capability and attendance issues, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and termination of employment.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, and HR documents.
  • Handling complex employment disputes, including Employment Tribunal claims.

The firm is on a growth trajectory, having opened new departments and made senior Partner level hires recently.

Role Details

This is a hybrid role. The firm are based in London’s West End, and you’ll be expected to go into the office 3 days a week.

Requirements

  • 2-6 PQE Employment Associate.
  • Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Experience gained in private practice.
