Opportunity for a Mid-Level Employment Associate to join a highly regarded entrepreneurial London law firm.
The firm
Our client is a well-established, partner-led commercial law firm based in central London, with a strong reputation across Real Estate, Dispute Resolution and Corporate/Commercial, alongside specialist practices including Banking & Finance, Construction, Employment, Private Client, Sport, Tax and Immigration.
The firm has a relaxed, entrepreneurial and down-to-earth culture, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality, partner-led client service.
The team
The successful candidate will join the firm's Employment & Immigration practice, working closely with a leading Employment partner and a collegiate team.
The Employment team advises a diverse client base ranging from major companies to smaller private and owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, HNW individuals and senior executives.
Clients operate across a wide range of sectors, with particular crossover into the firm's strong Real Estate and Corporate/Commercial client base, as well as hospitality, restaurants, healthcare, retail, technology, media and professional services.

The role
The firm is seeking a mid-level Employment Associate to join the team and take on a high level of responsibility while working closely with the Employment partner.
The role will include:
- Advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Advising employers, business owners, entrepreneurs and individuals
- Handling employment claims, discrimination and whistleblowing matters
- Advising on contracts, handbooks, restrictive covenants and confidentiality
- Advising on terminations and settlement agreements
- Supporting employment aspects of M&A transactions
- Advising on redundancy and restructuring matters
- Providing employment advice to senior executives and HNW individuals
- Developing direct client relationships and taking responsibility for matters with appropriate supervision

Required
- UK qualified Solicitor with 3 - 5 PQE
- Strong experience across a broad range of employment law matters
- Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment work
- Excellent technical, drafting and client management skills
- Comfortable taking responsibility for matters and working with a high degree of independence
