Employment Associate | London | 0-4 PQE
This is an opportunity to join a leading employment team, advising a broad client base ranging from start-ups and household-name brands through to major UK and multinational organisations.
This is a highly regarded practice with a strong reputation for both contentious and non-contentious employment work. The team advises on the full spectrum of employment matters and is consistently recognised as one of the strongest employment groups in the market.
The Role
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied workload including:
- Day-to-day employment advisory matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, contracts, policies and workplace issues.
- Employment Tribunal litigation, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and equal pay claims.
- High Court employment disputes, including restrictive covenants, team moves and confidential information matters.
- Support on restructurings, redundancies and collective consultation exercises.
- TUPE and employment aspects of corporate transactions, outsourcings and reorganisations.
- Senior executive and board-level advisory work.
- International employment projects involving multinational clients.

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from employment solicitors with between 0-4 years' PQE gained within a recognised employment practice.

- Experience advising employer clients on a range of employment matters.
- Exposure to both advisory and contentious work.
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Confidence managing matters with appropriate supervision and building client relationships.
- A commercial and proactive approach.
- An interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the practice.
