Employment Associate. International Firm. 12 Month FTC. 3+ PQE

We are working with a notable international law firm that is looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its highly regarded Employment team in London on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role is to cover a period of maternity leave, starting ASAP. The firm operates a hybrid working pattern with 3 days per week in the office.

Role Overview

The successful lawyer will join a busy team and can expect exposure to a varied employment law caseload, spanning a full range of contentious, advisory, and transactional matters. There is currently a healthy pipeline of Employment Tribunal work and broader advisory matters, alongside an increase in employment support arising from corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Working across the team’s Partners, the successful individual will have the opportunity to advise on a broad range of employment matters and become well integrated into the practice throughout the duration of the contract.

Requirements

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Upwards of 3 years’ experience in handling a full range of Employment Law matters
  • Strong and relevant experience gained within notable law firms in the UK
  • The ability to work effectively with multiple Partners and members of a busy Employment team
  • The willingness and ability to commit to a 12-month fixed term contract
  • The capacity to start a new role immediately or at short notice
