Position summary
As an Employment Associate at Winston Taylor, you will be at the centre of complex workplace disputes, business-critical change projects, executive exits, and major corporate transactions. One day you could be defending a high-value Employment Tribunal claim, the next advising leaders through a sensitive investigation, supporting a transformational acquisition, or helping a global employer navigate workforce challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

This is not a role from the sidelines. You will work directly with senior decision-makers, take ownership of significant matters, and deliver commercially focused advice that helps clients move forward with confidence. Position responsibilities
- Lead Employment Tribunal matters from strategy through to resolution, with opportunities to undertake advocacy at preliminary hearings where appropriate.
- Advise HR Directors, General Counsel, Managing Directors, and senior business leaders on complex employee relations issues, workplace risk, and business-critical people decisions.
- Drive negotiations involving senior executive appointments, departures, restrictive covenants, team moves, and business protection matters.
- Act on the employment aspects of domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, delivering practical advice that keeps deals moving and businesses protected.

Experience, skills, and qualifications
- 2-4 years' PQE with strong employment law experience gained within a recognised law firm.
- Proven ability to manage complex matters, take ownership of client relationships, and deliver commercially focused solutions.
- Strong technical employment law skills combined with sound commercial judgement and confidence operating in high-pressure environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication skills, strong client handling experience, and a desire to help grow client relationships and opportunities.
