Employment Solicitor (Associate) Leeds | Hybrid Working | 5+ PQE

An established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its growing team in Leeds. This is a hybrid opportunity, offering a mix of office and home working following the successful completion of probation.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of employment matters, with a particular focus on executive exits, claimant employment tribunal litigation and supporting the wider commercial team on employment-related matters.

The Role This position would suit an Employment Solicitor with around 5+ years' PQE and a strong understanding of the employment tribunal process. Experience acting for respondents or advising employers on non-contentious employment matters would be advantageous but is not essential. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team, offering an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of employment law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
  • Advising clients on executive exits and settlement agreements.
  • Handling claimant employment tribunal litigation.
  • Supporting colleagues with employment law advice on commercial matters.
  • Delivering excellent client care and building strong client relationships.
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • Managing deadlines effectively while maintaining a high standard of work.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with approximately 5+ years' PQE in Employment Law.
  • Strong knowledge of employment tribunal procedures.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Confident working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proactive with a positive, flexible approach to work.
