The Role
A leading insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its in-house legal team.
This is a senior business-facing role advising HR, senior leadership and key stakeholders on a broad range of employment and workforce-related matters across multiple jurisdictions. The position offers exposure to complex employee relations matters, senior executive issues, investigations, restructuring projects and employment litigation.

What you’ll do
- Act as a trusted adviser to HR and senior business stakeholders on employment law and people-related risk.
- Advise on a range of complex people, conduct and workplace-related matters.
- Support senior executive hires, exits, settlement agreements and restrictive covenant issues.
- Manage employment disputes, tribunal claims and external counsel relationships.
- Support the development of employment policies, governance frameworks and training programmes.
- Support complex UK and international employment matters.

Who we’re looking for
- Qualified solicitor with 7-10 years' post-qualification experience, including significant expertise in employment law gained within the insurance sector.
- Strong experience advising on complex employee relations matters, investigations and employment disputes.
- Proven ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to senior stakeholders.
