Remote/Hybrid (Office based in Auckley, Doncaster)

Hours

Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

About Stride

Stride Yorkshire supports neurodivergent individuals and people facing barriers to employment through personalised employment support, advocacy and coaching. We are seeking an Employment Funding & Advocacy Lead to take ownership of our Access to Work service.

About the Role

Initially specialising in Access to Work applications and case management, you will independently manage a busy caseload, liaise with clients, employers and Access to Work advisers, produce high-quality written funding applications and professionally negotiate to secure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a busy caseload of Access to Work applications.
  • Act as the main client contact.
  • Liaise with employers and Access to Work.
  • Write persuasive funding applications and supporting statements.
  • Negotiate and challenge decisions professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Improve processes and outcomes.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organisation and caseload management.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written communication; bid/funding writing experience desirable.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience in case management, advocacy, employment support, welfare, housing, recruitment or similar.
