The role

As an Employment Law Solicitor/Adviser (Partnerships), you will provide high-quality, pragmatic employment law and employee relations advice primarily to WorkNest’s Partnerships clients and their members, alongside a small portfolio of SME clients.

This is a varied and relationship-focused role where you will work closely with key stakeholders, helping clients achieve their commercial objectives while ensuring legal compliance and delivering excellent service standards.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Providing clear, commercially focused employment law and employee relations advice
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with partnership clients and stakeholders
  • Managing a dedicated portfolio of client accounts and supporting service delivery expectations
  • Liaising with employee representatives in relation to early conciliation matters where appropriate
  • Supporting senior advisers with proposals and prospective client meetings
  • Delivering occasional external client training, webinars, blogs, and articles
  • Supporting and mentoring paralegals and trainees
  • Contributing to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across the team
  • Promoting WorkNest initiatives and wider Axiom GRC services where appropriate

About You

This role would suit a newly qualified solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or HR professional with relevant employment law / employee relations experience and a minimum of two years’ relevant experience.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to high standards of service
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to support client needs
  • The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced advisory environment
