An excellent opportunity to join a leading international law firm as an Employment Associate or Senior Associate, multiple roles are available across offices in Birmingham, London and Manchester. You will join a highly regarded employment practice advising major UK and international employers on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters.
The role offers excellent exposure to complex employment work from an early stage, including tribunal litigation, investigations, restructuring and advisory matters. You will work closely with experienced lawyers while developing direct client relationships and taking increasing responsibility for your own work.
Role
- Support and manage employment tribunal claims, including drafting ET3s and schedules of loss
- Advise on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE and employment status matters
- Support complex workplace investigations and prepare investigation reports
- Work on restructuring, outsourcing and organisational change projects
- Conduct legal research and draft commercially focused advice
- Attend client meetings and work directly with HR and senior business stakeholders
- Support client training, webinars and seminars
- Contribute to employment law updates, know-how and business development initiatives
- Work alongside colleagues on international and cross-border employment matters

Candidate Requirements
- Multiple roles available across various experience levels
- Experience advising employers on contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Exposure to employment tribunal claims and litigation
- Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
- Commercial approach with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication and client relationship skills
- Proactive and organised with an interest in developing a career in employment law

The role is based in London, Manchester or Birmingham and offers flexible hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 working from home. Salaries are highly competitive with a strong package of benefits and bonus.
