We’re working with a leading digital banking seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer to join their London Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer with strong financial services experience, who will provide advice across the full employee lifecycle while supporting regulatory matters including SMCR, FCA Conduct Rules, and remuneration. They’re looking for 5–10 years’ PQE, paying circa £130k–£150k total compensation.

- Provide employment law advice across the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, dismissals, grievances, disciplinaries, settlements, and employment status matters.
- Advise the People team and wider business on employment-related regulatory matters, including SMCR and FCA Conduct Rules.
- Support remuneration matters including malus, clawback, deferred compensation, and remuneration policies.
- Lead and support international employment projects, working with internal stakeholders and external counsel where required.
- Deliver employment law training and provide strategic legal support across wider business initiatives.

Key Requirements:
- 5–10 years’ PQE
- Previous experience within banking or broader financial services.
- Strong knowledge of SMCR, FCA Conduct Rules, remuneration matters, and regulatory enquiries.
- Experience working in-house or within a law firm advising financial services clients.
