Employment Lawyer (2+ PQE) | 6-Month Contract | Leading Law Firm

We are currently partnering with a leading law firm that is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join its highly regarded team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 2+ years' PQE to work on a broad range of high-quality employment matters, supporting a diverse client base and collaborating with experienced employment specialists.

The Role Will Involve:

  • Advising employer clients on a wide range of day-to-day employment law matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, employment contracts, workplace policies, flexible working requests, discrimination issues and family leave rights.
  • Supporting clients through restructures, redundancies and other workforce change projects.
  • Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and employment-related disputes.
  • Advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE transfers and due diligence exercises.
  • Working closely with clients to provide practical, commercial and risk-focused legal advice.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across corporate, commercial and regulatory teams on multidisciplinary matters.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' PQE in employment law.
  • Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage matters with an appropriate degree of autonomy.
  • A commercial, pragmatic approach and strong client-facing skills.
  • Experience gained at a recognised law firm or in-house legal team.
